Metzung stated, I have in the past asked them to maintain the side of the swale on Rick's <br />side of the creek. I will go back #o them and say, let's get this side taken care of. The creek is all <br />in the Library property. If I cari get tfiem to take care of it at least on Rick's side. <br />Mr. Christian stated, I still have to look at 4 foot of weeds on the other side. The weeds grow <br />and they go into my yard and I have to spend money on weed killer to kili the weeds that come <br />up in the middle of my yard constantly. I have .had to put weed killer down several years in a <br />r.ow. I quit. I can't keep it up: It just blows into the yard. Architectural Review Board - Architectural Review Board met last Thursday. We <br />approved a"Village Trails' monument sign'for their development on Wilson.Mills. <br />. Planning and Zoning - Planning and Zoning met two weeks ago,to look at tlie change in <br />the use classification of the 6:9 acres on Highland Road. .They voted to go forward with <br />, . recominending to Gouncil that it go on the ballot. Tliat's on Third Read tonight, <br />Ordinaiice 2018-17: , Mary Betsa (Council) - Shred Day took place on Saturday. I was unable to attend. I would like <br />to defer to Patsy for the report. I would also like to thank Patsy, Susan.Jerome, Maura McKinley <br />? and Frank Agh for all of their hard work. <br />Mrs. Mills reported, we shred 271 boxes. 27 were Village boxes, 244 were boxes from residents <br />for a total of 8,500 pounds. Last.year, we shred 4,080 poi.uids, so we almost double what we <br />shred which is very good. It went very well considering we had off arid on rain. The shredding <br />compaiiy was very good too as far as lielping us. Tom Cappello (Engineei-) - The resuiā¢facing of the . Worton Park/Joyce neighborhood has <br />begun:. They liave done base .repairs, and are iii the process of the fiber niesh interlayer. <br />Tomoirow or the next day they will put the interinediate course down and after that tliey will be <br />doing casting adjustments prior to the fiiial coat of asphalt.
