Miiiutes of the Regular Meeting of Council .: . <br />. Monday; June 18, 2018 <br />Eage 27 <br />1Vlayor Bodnar stated, Patsy, made the motion. She withdrew. Who seconded it? . <br />Mr. Williams replied, I did. . <br />. Mayor Bodnar. _ stated, so if we have no motion and we have a second, do we need to <br />withdraw the second? <br />.• Mr. Coyne replied; I don't think you do. <br />Council President Saponaro stated, so it's been withdrawn and I would like to make it a <br />Motion to amend Ordinarice No. 2018-17. to be An Ordinance to b.e. placed on the .. <br />ballot revising the zone map of Mayfield Village so as to amend the use classification <br />of 6.93 acres of land and known as Perinanent Parcel Nos. 831-10-019, 831-10-007, <br />831-10-006 from its current classification of U-1 single family residential district to <br />planned residential develop-ment.district. Introduced by 1Vlayor Bodnar and Council as a <br />Whole. Can lget a motion? - - <br />Mrs:. So whether this passes or it doesn't; it, is a <br />clarification of what we're charged to do and I think that it's extremely important as a body <br />that we look at this'correctly. We are charged to either allow it to go on so tliat..voters can <br />amend it or not,° Is eyeryone clear ori that or does anyone disagree with that? <br />. I will preface it Uy a couple of very brief statements. <br />First of a11, I don't think that this is a precedent setting event. I think that each of these cases as <br />they arise should be evaluated on their own merits. That's how I look at it. Secoiidly, T don't <br />live on Highland Road and I. have no personal preference as to which way it goes, if it goes to' <br />planned residential development district or if it goes to single family homes.
