L+ <br />ORDINANCE NO. 2020-11 <br />Page 18 <br />153.20 EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION <br />(a) Effective January 1, 2020, compensation ranges for employees, setting Low and High Hourly <br />Rates and Low and High Salary Rates, are set forth in Exhibit 1 attached hereto. <br />(b) All employees covered by this Ordinance will receive a 2.75% increase in their base <br />compensation effective January 1, 2020, including those already receiving compensation at the <br />High Hourly and Salary Rate on Exhibit 1. Employees who have completed their one-year <br />probationary period as of January 1, 2020 are eligible for the increase or will become eligible <br />upon completion of their probationary period during 2020. <br />(c) All employees covered by this Ordinance will receive a 2.75% increase in their base <br />compensation effective January 1, 2021, including those already receiving compensation at or <br />above the High Hourly and Salary Rate on Exhibit 1. Employees who have completed their one- <br />year probationary period as of January 1, 2021 are eligible for the increase or will become <br />eligible upon completion of their probationary period during 2021. <br />(d) All employees covered by this Ordinance will receive a 2.75% increase in their base <br />compensation effective January 1, 2022, including those already receiving compensation at or <br />above the High Hourly and Salary Rate on Exhibit 1. Employees who have completed their one- <br />year probationary period as of January 1, 2022 are eligible for the increase or will become <br />eligible upon completion of their probationary period during 2022. <br />153.21 DEFERRED COMPENSATION PROGRAM. <br />(a) The Village hereby adopts a plan under the Ohio Public Employees Deferred <br />Compensation Program which extends to all eligible employees of the Municipality the <br />opportunity to join such program. <br />(b) The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute an agreement with the Ohio Public <br />Employees Deferred Compensation Board, which agreement shall be in a form approved by the <br />Finance Director and Director of Law, and which agreement shall authorize the Ohio Public <br />Employees Deferred Compensation Board to offer a plan under the Ohio Public Employees <br />Deferred Compensation Program to all eligible employees of the Municipality and thereafter to <br />administer the plan on behalf of such employees. <br />(c) The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute agreements with additional deferred <br />compensation providers, which agreements shall be in a form approved by the Finance Director <br />and Director of Law, and which shall authorize the offering of deferred compensation programs <br />to eligible employees of the Municipality and thereafter to administer the plan on behalf of <br />such employees. <br />
