L+ ORDINANCE NO. 2020-11 Page 18 153.20 EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION (a) Effective January 1, 2020, compensation ranges for employees, setting Low and High Hourly Rates and Low and High Salary Rates, are set forth in Exhibit 1 attached hereto. (b) All employees covered by this Ordinance will receive a 2.75% increase in their base compensation effective January 1, 2020, including those already receiving compensation at the High Hourly and Salary Rate on Exhibit 1. Employees who have completed their one-year probationary period as of January 1, 2020 are eligible for the increase or will become eligible upon completion of their probationary period during 2020. (c) All employees covered by this Ordinance will receive a 2.75% increase in their base compensation effective January 1, 2021, including those already receiving compensation at or above the High Hourly and Salary Rate on Exhibit 1. Employees who have completed their one- year probationary period as of January 1, 2021 are eligible for the increase or will become eligible upon completion of their probationary period during 2021. (d) All employees covered by this Ordinance will receive a 2.75% increase in their base compensation effective January 1, 2022, including those already receiving compensation at or above the High Hourly and Salary Rate on Exhibit 1. Employees who have completed their one- year probationary period as of January 1, 2022 are eligible for the increase or will become eligible upon completion of their probationary period during 2022. 153.21 DEFERRED COMPENSATION PROGRAM. (a) The Village hereby adopts a plan under the Ohio Public Employees Deferred Compensation Program which extends to all eligible employees of the Municipality the opportunity to join such program. (b) The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute an agreement with the Ohio Public Employees Deferred Compensation Board, which agreement shall be in a form approved by the Finance Director and Director of Law, and which agreement shall authorize the Ohio Public Employees Deferred Compensation Board to offer a plan under the Ohio Public Employees Deferred Compensation Program to all eligible employees of the Municipality and thereafter to administer the plan on behalf of such employees. (c) The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute agreements with additional deferred compensation providers, which agreements shall be in a form approved by the Finance Director and Director of Law, and which shall authorize the offering of deferred compensation programs to eligible employees of the Municipality and thereafter to administer the plan on behalf of such employees.
