Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
Monday, March 18, 2019
Page 6
Mr. Metzung replied, yes.
Council President Saponaro asked, and how many trees is that, do we know?
Mr. Metzung replied, 44.
Council President Saponaro stated, all right. Very good. Anything else?
Mr. Metzung replied, no.
Committee Reports:
Citizens Advisory Committee (Patsy Mills): Our next meeting is this coming Monday,
March 25th at 7:00 p.m. Mr. McAvinew will be giving us a rundown on the Grove.
Third Reading of Ordinance No. 2019704, entitled, "An Ordinance appropriating funds
for current expenses and expenditures for Mayfield Village, Ohio for the period from
January 1, 2019 and ending December 31, 2019 and declaring an emergency." Introduced
by Mayor Bodnar. (First Reading — January 28, 2019; Second Reading — February 25,
2019) (Finance Department)
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2019-04.
Council President Saponaro asked, discussion?
Mr. Wynne stated, I just wanted to bring to Council's attention why there was a late change at
the end of last week based upon the opening of the bid results which we will talk about later on
this evening. We received one bid result for a project at the Fire Department which we are going
to reject tonight, but based upon the results of that bid, we felt we were short in the budget so we
added $75,000 to that capital projects budget to make sure we have enough to cover that when
we do go back out to bid for that project.
Council President Saponaro stated, very good. Thank you. Does anyone have any questions
regarding the budget, the Ordinance that we have been reviewing for the past three months or
any of the other information that Mr. Wynne has provided?
There were none.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried
NAYS: None Ordinance Enacted
