July 15, 2019 <br />Page 2 <br />ONSIDERATION OF MINUTES: <br />Regular Council Meeting — June 17, 2019 <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to approve the minutes of the Regular <br />Council Meeting of June 17, 2019 as written. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, discussion? <br />There was none. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Minutes of June 17, 2019 <br />Meeting Approved as Written <br />Comments from Mayor Bodnar <br />Thank you Council President. First of all, I want to echo your sentiments on welcoming again <br />OMNI to Mayfield Village. We are very happy to have you here and to participate with you. <br />Thank you for that. I also want to acknowledge and recognize our own Mayfield Village Garden <br />Club and Councilwoman Patsy Mills for securing for us a Blue Star Memorial By -Way Marker <br />which honors those men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces. Our <br />dedication was last Wednesday. We had a great presence from Council, the community and from <br />the Ohio and other local Garden Clubs. If you have not seen it, as you walk out the door, you <br />turn right due north on that path and you will come to the beautiful Blue Star Marker. There's a <br />Blue Star flag above it as well as the American flag. I invite everyone to go out and take a look <br />and say a little prayer in honor of those who served. <br />Comments from Council President Sauonaro <br />Thank you Mayor. My comments echo the Mayor's. It was a phenomenal ceremony and <br />something's that extremely important. If you missed it, certainly go and look at the marker. For <br />the folks from OMNI, you are welcome to stay, but you don't need to, you are free to leave.
