I would just like to take a moment to thank everyone here for <br />coming out tonight, especially those of you who come on a fairly regular basis. We really <br />appreciate everyone's attendance at Council meetings and also your participation. I would like <br />to also wish everyone here a very Happy and Healthy and Safe Holiday Season with your <br />families and a Peaceful and Prosperous New Year. <br />Now with the consent of Council President which I have already obtained, we are going to go a <br />little bit out of order on the agenda. In Mayfield Village, we pride ourselves on the quality of <br />life that we enjoy here. Tonight, we are going to take a few minutes out to honor those who have <br />contributed to that quality of life. Heinen's Grocery Store is not only #1 in our hearts but in fact <br />it has been ranked nationally as one of the top grocery stores in America. <br />Tonight, we have with us Heinen's Co -President Tom Heinen's and the General Manager of our <br />Mayfield Village store, Mr. Pat Cramer here to accept a Proclamation Congratulating Heinen's <br />on its 90th Anniversary. So, I will read that into the record. <br />Presentation of Proclamation Congratulating Heinen's Grocery Stores on its 90th <br />Anniversary <br />WHEREAS, Heinen's Grocery Stores were founded in 1929 by Joseph Heinen, who was <br />seeking to establish himself as a purveyor of quality meats. Joseph Heinen opened a small <br />butcher shop on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio and, by 1933, at the request of his customers, <br />had grown the business to include fresh produce and a variety of groceries; and <br />
