Introduced by
Mayor Bodnar. (Finance Department).
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2020-15.
Council President Schutt asked, discussion?
Mr. Wynne stated, this is a late entry for this evening. Just a quick background. First of all, the
background on approving depositories. We are required every five years to have the financial
institutions that we deposit our money in approved by Council. That five years expires
December 31, 2020. That's why this legislation terminates on that date just to make it
consistent. I found out on Friday that the investment advisor that I have been dealing with with
UBS Financial Services who manages all of our CD transactions has left UBS and taken a
position with Wells Fargo Advisors. What this Resolution is requesting is to add Wells Fargo
Advisors as an approved depository so I can work with him to move our portfolio over to Wells
Fargo where he can manage it from his new employer.
Council President Schutt stated, thank you Ron. Discussion?
