Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council Monday, November 15, 2021 Page 2 Mr. Mark Arndt on his successful bid for Council. I look forward to working with all of you and all of our existing Council as we move forward on our successful path. Also, I would like to send Kudos to the Garden Club on their successful Craft Fair which was held across the street last weekend. Finally, I would like to thank and commend our Building and Facilities Manager Mr. Sean Supler. On September 1st after a senior event at the Community Room, upon leaving the building Sean noticed a woman who was unconscious in the back of her car. Due to his quick action and calling for help and getting people there, he was able to get the assistance that this woman needed. His actions were instrumental in saving her life. I have issued a Commendation to Mr. Supler. That's all I have for this evening. Thank you. Council President Schutt stated, thank you Mayor Bodnar. Comments From Council President Schutt You stole my thunder on the congratulations. Mayor Bodnar stated, I'm sorry. No problem. I want to thank all of our residents for voting. We appreciate you coming out and having your voice heard. Also, as Mayor Bodnar mentioned, congratulations to Council President Pro Tem Al Meyers on his bid for re-election as well as Councilman George Williams. I also wanted to welcome Mr. Mark Arndt as well. He will be starting in January. Also, just a reminder. I know it feels like Winter. It is still Fall and leaf pick-up is in full swing. Please make sure that you put your leaves at the edge of your property and not into the street as there are several safety concerns. Also, review the Voice of the Village. There are several holiday activities coming up, mostly driven by the Parks and Recreation Department. Thank you for them and to the Service Department, Police Department and Fire Department as they participate in those events as well. Thank you for getting that all together. There are quite a few events coming up during the holidays. That's the end of my report.
