Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
Monday, June 21, 2021
Page 8
that the County can see that we have sufficient resources coming in from other than property taxes
to make the principal interest payments on that debt without having to allocate property tax dollars
for that purpose. This is required to be passed by July 15`h and submitted by July 201h to the
County.
Council President Schutt stated, thank you Mr. Wynne. Are there any other comments?
There were none.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Resolution Adopted
• Resolution No. 2021-21, entitled, "An emergency resolution authorizing Mayfield Village
to expend funds in an amount not to exceed $130,000 to Wichert Insurance Svc, Inc. for
renewal policy of business insurance coverage." Introduced by Mayor Bodnar.
(Administration).
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2021-21.
Council President Schutt asked, discussion?
Mr. Wynne reported, yes, our annual renewal after going out to market, came in at $125,907. This
is 4.8% higher than our premiums last year of $120,184. We request $130,000 because after the
renewal over the next 12 months we typically add vehicles and sell vehicles at the same time so
the additional $3,000-4,000 is the company insurance premiums on those new vehicles that we
will purchase and then we get an insurance reimbursement which goes into revenue as a
miscellaneous reimbursement.
Council President Schutt stated, thank you Mr. Wynne. Any other comments?
There were none.
ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried
NAYS: None Resolution Adopted
ANY OTHER MATTERS
Council President Schutt asked, are there any other matters to come before Council at this time?
There were none.
