Coyne, Law Director <br />Mayfield Village <br />6622 Wilson Mills Road <br />Mayfield, Ohio 44143 <br />Re: 730 SOM Center Road, Mayfield, Ohio (PPN 831-15-003) (the "Property") <br />Development Agreement Extension Request <br />Dear Law Director Coyne: <br />On May 19, 2020, the Cuyahoga County Board of Elections certified the results of the <br />March 17, 2020 Primary Election (as extended to April 28, 2020) wherein the electors of <br />Mayfield Village approved the rezoning of the above -captioned Property from the Single -Family <br />House District to the Office Laboratory District. <br />Per the terms of the Development Agreement entered into between Georgian Medical <br />Arts II, LLC ("Georgian") and Mayfield Village relative to the Property, as amended by the First <br />Amendment to Development Agreement dated January 19, 2021, Georgian was required to <br />complete the following: <br />a) Commencement of construction of the Development by November 19, 2022. <br />b) Application for Site Plan, Conditional Use and Area Variance approvals by July <br />19, 2021. <br />C) Completion of a Traffic Study by July 19, 2021. <br />Consistent with Section 5(g) of the Development Agreement, Georgian remains in <br />negotiations with University Hospitals Health Care Enterprises, Inc. ("UH"), which extended the <br />existing Master Lease Agreement on the adjacent UH Mayfield Village Health Center through <br />June 30, 2025, for formal affiliation with the Development. However, UH is not presently <br />prepared to proceed due to the significant effects of the continuing global pandemic. <br />D ! <br />
