CEJ Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council Monday, October 17, 2022 Page 15 Next, I wanted to say thanks again for the Mayor's comments on supporting the Trick or Treat Trail. It was a wonderful day. I think we probably had 500 show up. It was great weather, a little windy but great weather. The Service Department, the Police Department, all did a wonderful job. This event requires a lot of volunteers. We had a lot of great adult volunteers who participated and helped out but one thing I want to make a note on is the Interact Club at the high school. They had 30 students sign up to be part of this event. They almost volunteered 100 hours in one day to make this event successful. The kids did a great job. Mr. Jerry Turk does a great job with that program. Without having them the last three years with Cruise Night and this is the third Halloween event they have been at. They have done a wonderful job. I have to give special note to all 30 of those kids who came there. They made the day fun and enjoyable. I just wanted to make sure everyone knew how hard they worked. They were Freshman to Seniors. Thank you. I have nothing else. Council President Schutt stated, thank you Mr. McAvinew Scott Sipos (Service) - Thank you Council President. Just one thing. Leaf season has officially started at the Service Department. We will be picking up leaves through mid-December. It's all contingent on weather. So tell your friends and neighbors to get their leaves out quick so we can have it all done before it snows. Council President Schutt stated, thank you, Mr. Sipos. OLD BUSINESS • Third Reading of Ordinance No 2022-18, entitled, "An Ordinance repealing Mayfield Village Codified Ordinance Chapter 1128 "Comprehensive Stormwater Management" and replacing it in its entirety with new Chapter 1128 "Comprehensive Stormwater Management." Introduced by Mayor Bodnar. (First Reading — August 15, 2022; Second Reading — September 19, 2022). Mr. Murphy, seconded by Mrs. Jurcisek, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2022-18. Council President Schutt asked, discussion on Ordinance 2022-18? There was none. ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried NAYS: None Ordinance Enacted Council President Schutt stated Ordinance 2022-18 passes.
