RESOLUTION NO. 2022-47 <br />PAGE 2 <br />SECTION 2. The Council of Mayfield Village does hereby direct the Mayor and <br />President of Council to enter into a contract with Greve Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Van Wert in the <br />amount of $225,413.00 for the purchase of four (4) police vehicles, including additional equipment <br />upgrades and the cost of the changeover. This contract shall be in place of the contract previously <br />authorized by Resolution 2022-10. <br />SECTION 3. The Council finds and determines that all formal actions of this Council <br />relating to the adoption of this Resolution have been taken at open meetings of this Council; and <br />that deliberations of this Council and of its committees, resulting in such formal actions, took place <br />in meetings open to the public, in compliance with all statutory requirements including <br />requirements of Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code. <br />SECTION 4. This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />immediately necessary for the preservation of health, safety and welfare of the residents of <br />Mayfield Village, Ohio, for the reason that it provides equipment necessary to fulfill the <br />obligations of the Police Department as set forth in the Village of Mayfield Charter, Article V, <br />Section 8 and Chapter 139 of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of Mayfield.
