Minutes of the Special Meeting of Council <br />Monday, May 1, 2023 <br />Page 2 <br />• First Reading of Resolution No. 2023-34, entitled, "An emergency resolution authorizing <br />Mayfield Village to accept the bid of TC Construction, Inc. in the amount of $242,250.00 <br />and enter into a contract for the Aintree North and Sandalwood Drive Neighborhood <br />Sidewalk Replacement Project." Introduced by Mayor Bodnar. (Engineer). <br />Mr. Murphy, seconded by Mrs. Jurcisek, made a motion to suspend Resolution No. 2023-34. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Suspended <br />Mr. Murphy, seconded by Mrs. Jurcisek, made a motion to enact Resolution No. 2023-34. <br />Council President Schutt asked, discussion? <br />There was none. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Council President Schutt stated, Resolution No. 2023-34 passes. <br />• First Reading of Resolution No. 2023-35, entitled, "An emergency resolution authorizing <br />Mayfield Village to accept the partial bid of Great Lakes Crushing, Ltd. in the amount of <br />$101,060 and enter into a contract for concrete pavement construction for food trucks and <br />rejecting the remaining part of the bid for site lighting and electrical (Item No. 11) <br />improvements at The Grove Amphitheatre." Introduced by Mayor Bodnar. (Engineer). <br />Mr. Murphy, seconded by Mrs. Jurcisek, made a motion to suspend Resolution No. 2023-35. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Suspended <br />Mr. Murphy, seconded by Mrs. Jurcisek, made a motion to enact Resolution No. 2023-35. <br />Council President Schutt asked, discussion? <br />Mr. Meyers asked, if we pass this, is there going to be any guarantee on the electrical, like <br />what the bid is going to be? Are they going to have to go out for bid again? <br />Mr. Cappello replied, yes. <br />Mr. Meyers asked, so it could cost more? <br />Mr. Cappello replied, it could potentially cost more. <br />
