Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council Monday, December 18, 2023 Page 2 Special Council Meeting — December 4, 2023 Mrs. Jurcisek, seconded by Mr. Meyers, made a motion to approve the minutes of the Special Council Meeting of December 4, 2023 as written. Council President Schutt asked, any discussion? There was none. ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carries NAYS: None Minutes of December 4, 2023 Meeting Authorized as Written Comments From Mayor Bodnar Thank you, Council President. Just a couple things. I want to wish everybody here a very Merry Christmas. I hope you have a safe and happy Christmas. Nature has set in so be careful on the roads out there. I know in Mayfield Village the roads will always be clean, but the rest of the world is kind of like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. Have a safe and wonderful holiday. I also wanted to note that the SPAN Mayors and Police Chiefs met this afternoon. We Authorized our budget going forward into 2024. Some costs went up and some went down. Overall, our contribution for next year will be $42,560. Last year it was $44,040, so it's about $1,500 lower. We will be asking for Council approval on this expenditure in January. Thank you. I would like to let everyone know that the Organizational Meeting of Council is scheduled for January 8d' at 6:30 p.m. Our Council Caucus meeting is also scheduled for January 8d' at 7:00 p.m. The next Regular Meeting of Council is January 22°d at 7:00 p.m. Also, as the Mayor mentioned, I would like to wish everyone a Happy Holidays, Happy New Year, stay healthy and safe out there.
