Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
Monday, January 22, 2024
Page 2
Council President Schutt asked, any discussion?
There was none.
ROLL CALL: AYES:
NAYS:
Comments From Mayor Bodnar
All Motion Carries
None Minutes of January 8, 2024
Meeting Authorized as Written
Thank you, Council President. A couple of things this evening. First on behalf of all of us, I would
like to express our condolences to our retired Councilwoman Patsy Mills on the death of her son
Art. Art is the son who lived with her so it's hard enough to mourn the loss of a child, but this is
going to be particularly hard on Patsy. I think everyone got e-mails that Art's services will be on
Friday afternoon from 2:00-4:00 at Murphy's.
Secondly, we have a VOV coming out very shortly. I would like to thank Diane Wolgamuth for
all of her hard work on it. I had the opportunity to preview the issue and I think it's a really great
issue. Many of you contributed articles and photos. Thank you for that. When I was reading about
all the new things that need to go on my calendar now, I noticed that in the Recreation Department,
Senior Services is going to have an Easter Egg Hunt for the Senior Citizens. I thought that was a
great way to get us to bend and stretch. Thank you for that. I look forward to that day. That's all
I have. Thank you.
Council President Schutt stated, thank you, Mayor Bodnar.
Comments From Council President Schutt
I would like to echo the Mayor's comments and her thoughts and prayers to Patsy and her family.
I would also like to thank the Service Department for the snow and ice removal during the stretch
of pretty cold weather. We appreciate everything that your department does. Thank you. Our
February meetings are Caucus on February 5`n and Council on February I9`n
Open Portion — For Public Comment (5-minute limit imposed by Chair)
Council President Schutt stated, if anyone wishes to speak, please come up to the podium and state
your name and address for the record.
There were none.
