Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, January 22, 2024 <br />Page 3 <br />Department Head Reports: <br />Dan Russell (Building) — Thank you Council President. I will be reporting on the December 19t" <br />Planning and Zoning meeting and the January 18t" Planning and Zoning workshop meeting. At <br />the meeting on the 19t" we had one application. It was for the height of a fence in the front yard. <br />That was approved. During the workshop on the 18t", we received one application from <br />Montebello Development. They are requesting to redo the plats for the property. They will be <br />taking out the two-family houses and selling them as single family homes instead. That's all I <br />have to report. <br />Council President Schutt asked, any questions? <br />There were none. <br />Council President Schutt stated, thank you Mr. Russell. <br />Shane McAvinew (Parks and Recreation) - Thank you Council President. I have a few items <br />on the agenda. The Commission on Aging meeting that was on January 25t" is going to be <br />rescheduled to either February 8t" or 15t". We have some maintenance work going on at the <br />Community Room right now. The next Parks and Rec Board meeting is on March 16t" at 6:00 <br />p.m. at the Civic Center. We went through our first senior snow plow event with our contractors <br />last week. We got a few calls, but overall it went pretty well. If you have any residents with <br />concerns, please tell them to give me a call and I will get in contact with the contractor. Also, my <br />annual report for Parks and Recreation should have been in your mailboxes. Take a look at it and <br />let me know if you have any questions. There's a lot of good information on there about what we <br />have done and are planning on doing this year. Also, we are almost halfway through the edition of <br />our next community guide which will outline all of the activities going on all the way through <br />August. It will have the concert schedule, Cruise Night, programs for the kids. It should be out <br />by the third week of February. Digitally, it will be out two weeks before that.
