Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
Monday, July 15, 2024
Page 12
Ms. Finnie stated, Mrs. Betsa, Mr. Marquart and Chief Matias.
Ms. Calta replied, correct. Those are all administrative positions and individuals who were also
invited into the Executive Session.
Ms. Finnie asked, but all of Council was in the Executive Session?
Ms. Calta replied, correct. Exactly.
Mr. Arndt asked, how come we wouldn't have to approve the date and timing?
Ms. Calta replied, my recollection is that it was discussed administratively and also discussed with
Council.
Mr. Arndt stated, it was discussed but nothing came back to us with a date or specific timing or
anything of that nature.
Ms. Calta replied, that's really an administrative decision. That was discussed with administration
and Council.
Mayor Bodnar asked, Mark, were you in that Executive Session?
Mr. Arndt replied, I was in Executive Session, but there was nothing finalized when we walked
out. Yes, we talked about the properties being for sale. I remember that.
Mayor Bodnar stated, right, and we talked about giving notice and we talked about basically the
timeframe we had, but it is an administrative decision at the end of the day. It's nothing you would
need to vote on.
Mr. Arndt stated, under these circumstances, is there a way to maybe delay this for a little while?
Mayor Bodnar stated, Mark, certainly we will take into consideration the things the people have
said tonight, but there won't be a decision made tonight.
Ms. Finnie asked, when can they expect to hear back from someone?
Ms. Calta replied, we will be able to discuss something later this week.
Council President Schutt asked, are there any other matters to come before Council this evening?
There were none.
