I'll go with my comments first. Our next Council Caucus is on Monday,
March 3`d at 7:00 p.m. Later on in the agenda, we have a motion under new business for
consideration to change the Council calendar to reflect that our March Council meeting will be
moved from March 24th to Tuesday, March 181h at 7:00 p.m. in this room.
Comments From Mayor Bodnar
Thank you Council President, I appreciate your switching our comments this evening. Earlier this
evening I met with Peyton Koballa who is here with us tonight. Peyton is a Senior at Mayfield
High School. She's participating in the Beachwood Marketing Junior Achievement Program.
Every year, this group brings together Seniors from 10 different high schools and they develop a
non-profit organization in support of a social cause each year. There are 40 students in the program
altogether. Of those 40, five are from Mayfield High School. This year, the campaign is supporting
Hope Heroes and that is dedicated to supporting critically -ill children and their families by
unleashing the healing power of dogs in four Northeast Ohio hospitals. I have asked Peyton to
come tonight and explain a little bit about the program. She will kick off the public comments
section tonight. In introducing Peyton, I would like you to know that she is a very accomplished
swimmer. This is her 4th year on the Varsity swim team at Mayfield High School. She's a Captain.
She also serves as our head lifeguard here at Parkview Pool. Peyton is going to continue both her
academic and athletic career at Edenborough University this fall. Peyton, could you come up and
tell us a little bit about this?
Open Portion — For Public Comment (5-minute limit imposed by Chair)
Peyton Koballa
I'm going to give you a brief summary of what this program is.
