Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
Monday, April 21, 2025
Page 13
Mr. Stupczy stated, just kind of a heads up that we will be gathering for our annual Arbor Day
Celebration this Friday. Anyone interested in celebrating all the great things trees do for us, we
will be behind Center School at 9:00 a.m. on Friday morning.
Council President Schutt asked, are there any other department head reports this evening?
Ms. Calta stated, yes, Council President. I was going to report along with Chief Matias on the
public records policy. We recently had a new law that came down from Columbus addressing the
production of body cam and dash cam footage and allows municipalities to charge for the cost of
reviewing that and producing it in response to a public records request. They gave us some
guidance on what we can charge and how we can charge. The public records policy was updated
with that information and it was presented to the Records Commission last week. That was
approved by the Records Commission and will stand as the new policy for when those requests
come in. We can get you a copy of it if you need it.
Council President Schutt stated, thank you Ms. Calta. Any questions?
There were none.
Council President Schutt asked, are there any other department head reports this evening?
There were none.
OLD BUSINESS
Second Reading of Ordinance No. 2025-03, entitled, "An ordinance revising the zone
map of Mayfield Village so as to amend the zoning classification of 15.6 acres of land
located south of White Road and west of North Commons Boulevard and known as
permanent parcel numbers 831-04-001, 831-04-002, 831-04-003, 831-05-001, 831-05-
002, 831-05-003, and 831-05-004 from its current Residential Classification to
Production Distribution."
