ORDINANCE .NO. 84-. 39 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mayor Carmen and Council as a Whole <br />AN ORDINANCE LEVYING ASSESSMENTS <br />FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF BEECH HILL <br />ROAD BY HAVING IT RECONSTRUCTED AND <br />REPAVED, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, 'the Council of Mayfield Village, Ohio, did, on <br />March 21,1983, duly adopt Resolution No. 83-7 declaring the necessity <br />of improving Beech Hill Road by having it reconstructed and repaved; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, said Council did, on January 16, 1984, duly adopt <br />Resolution No. 84-5 approving the report of the Assessment Equaliza- <br />tion Board for the said improvement; and <br />WHEREAS, said Council did, on February 20, 1984, duly enact <br />Ordinance No. 84-6 determining to proceed with said improvement and <br />adopting the estimated assessments for said improvement, as equalized, <br />theretofore filed with the Clerk of Council; and <br />WHEREAS, said Council did, on March 19, 1984, duly adopt <br />Resolution No. 84-7 awarding a contract for the construction of said <br />improvement; and <br />WHEREAS, the actual cost of said improvement has now been <br />ascertained and has been placed on file in the office of the Clerk of <br />Council and has been. reported to this Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the estimated assessments for said improvement <br />heretofore adopted by Ordinance No. 84-6 have been adjusted so that <br />said assessments, as adjusted, are in the same proportion to said <br />estimated assessments as the actual cost of said improvement is to the <br />.estimated cost of said improvement; and <br />WHEREAS, said adjusted assessments are now on file in the <br />office of the Clerk of Council; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. The adjusted assessment of the cost of the <br />improvement of Beech Hill Road in Mayfield Village, Ohio, by having it <br />reconstructed and repaved, as heretof ore reported to this Council and <br />now on file in the office of its Clerk, amounting in the aggregate to <br />$81,886.58 is hereby adopted and confirmed. <br />Section 2. There is hereby levied and assessed upon the <br />lots and lands bounding and abutting upon said improvement the several <br />
