RESOLUTION N0. 81- 63 INTRODUCED BY: Mayor & Council as a Whole A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING RICK SALZER AND JOE LEVER TO SELL CHRISTMAS TREES ON MUNICLPAL PROPERTY TN MP~YFIELD VLLLP~GE, OHIO, SUBJECT TO CERTALN TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Rick Salzer and Joe Lever have requested permission from Mayfield Village, Ohio, to sell Christmas trees on municipal property in the David R.. Wiley Memorial Park; and WHEREAS, the aforementioned parties have agreed to pay to the m.unicipali.ty the sum of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) prior to commencing sales and to further pay the municipality the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) per tree for each. tree sold in excess of One Hundred (_lOQ) trees, all of said funds to be earmarked for the construction of the community room; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have determined that i.t is in the best i.ntere.sts of the community to permit said sale based on the foregoing conditions and subject .to the further conditions set forth. hereinafter now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CQUNCLL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: Section 1. Rick. Salzer and Joe Lever are hereby authorized to sell Christmas trees .n the David R. Wiley Memorial Park subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. The aforesaid parties shall pay to the muni_cipal.ty the sum of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars (,$250.0.0) prior to th.e delivery of Christmas trees to the designated area and shall thereafter pay to the municipality the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) per tree for each tree sold in excess of one hundred (1.00) trees. 2. The sale of the Christmas trees shall commence on December .6 , 1981 and shall terminate on December 24, 1981. 3. I~ny lighting necessary to accommodate the sale of the Christmas trees authorized herein shall be provided by the parties mentioned here.inabove solely at their own expense. 4. No sales of Christmas trees shall be permitted later than 10:00 P . M.
