ORDINANCE No. 566 <br />By Mr. Falk <br />AN ORDINANCE TO AN~E~ID SECTION 6 OF ORDINANCE <br />N0. 168, RELATING TO IN1I'ROVEl~~NT OF .STREETS <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL. OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />OHIO, `T'HAT : _ _ - - - - - - <br />- Sec® 2. Existing Ordinance No. 259 entitled: "An Ordinance to <br />Establis pecifications for Public and Private Roads within the Village <br />of Mayfield" is hereby repealed as of the date of the passage of this <br />Ordinance. _Section 6 of Ordinance No. x.68 entitled: "An Ordinance <br />Adopting Rules and Regulations Relative to Platting_of_land and the <br />Dedication of New Streets to be Shown on Such Plats", is hereby amended <br />to read, as follows: - <br />"Sec. 6. Improvement of Streets® <br />A. Requirements: <br />a. The improvement plans shall be prepared on tracing cloth <br />in India Tnk with a horizontal scale of one inch equals fifty <br />feet and a vertical scale of one inch equals five feet by the <br />Owner's Engineer, who steal]. be a Registered Professional <br />Engineer. An approved Regional Geodetic Survey datum and <br />bench mark shall be shown on the plan. The Improvement Plan <br />shall include the follow ng: existing profile taken on the <br />center 7%.ne and side lines of the street at intervals of <br />fifty feet and at such intermediate points where there is a <br />sharp break in grade, approved centerline profile, storm and <br />sanitary sewers, water mains, house connections, pavement, <br />and a typical cross-section of the roadway showing under- <br />ground installations and pavement and berm areasm <br />b. The established grade shall be the same as the proposed <br />centerline profile as shown on the Preliminary Profile and <br />approved by the Village Engineer. Grades shall be calculated <br />for each fifty foot station with vertical curves foi^ each <br />grade change, <br />c. ~v~herever outlets for sewers and water mains are available <br />to the at lotment, the Owner must install and connect at <br />his own cost all storm and sanitary sewers, culverts, water <br />mains, and connections for each sublot for sezrers and water <br />mains to three feet back of the edge of the proposed pave- <br />ment, in accordance with the specifications attached hereto, <br />made a part hereof and marked "Sewers" and "TrTater". If, <br />however, water mains and sewer_outlet_facilities are not <br />available to the property, the allotment ~ l7. not be approved <br />unless some other water supply means and sewage outlet means, <br />meeting with the approval of the Council and the Public Health <br />
