ORDINANCE No. 566 By Mr. Falk AN ORDINANCE TO AN~E~ID SECTION 6 OF ORDINANCE N0. 168, RELATING TO IN1I'ROVEl~~NT OF .STREETS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL. OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY OHIO, `T'HAT : _ _ - - - - - - - Sec® 2. Existing Ordinance No. 259 entitled: "An Ordinance to Establis pecifications for Public and Private Roads within the Village of Mayfield" is hereby repealed as of the date of the passage of this Ordinance. _Section 6 of Ordinance No. x.68 entitled: "An Ordinance Adopting Rules and Regulations Relative to Platting_of_land and the Dedication of New Streets to be Shown on Such Plats", is hereby amended to read, as follows: - "Sec. 6. Improvement of Streets® A. Requirements: a. The improvement plans shall be prepared on tracing cloth in India Tnk with a horizontal scale of one inch equals fifty feet and a vertical scale of one inch equals five feet by the Owner's Engineer, who steal]. be a Registered Professional Engineer. An approved Regional Geodetic Survey datum and bench mark shall be shown on the plan. The Improvement Plan shall include the follow ng: existing profile taken on the center 7%.ne and side lines of the street at intervals of fifty feet and at such intermediate points where there is a sharp break in grade, approved centerline profile, storm and sanitary sewers, water mains, house connections, pavement, and a typical cross-section of the roadway showing under- ground installations and pavement and berm areasm b. The established grade shall be the same as the proposed centerline profile as shown on the Preliminary Profile and approved by the Village Engineer. Grades shall be calculated for each fifty foot station with vertical curves foi^ each grade change, c. ~v~herever outlets for sewers and water mains are available to the at lotment, the Owner must install and connect at his own cost all storm and sanitary sewers, culverts, water mains, and connections for each sublot for sezrers and water mains to three feet back of the edge of the proposed pave- ment, in accordance with the specifications attached hereto, made a part hereof and marked "Sewers" and "TrTater".
