ORDINANCE N0. 566 , P.ELATING TO <br />IMI'ROVENIENT_ OF STREETS <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL. OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY <br />OHIO, THAT: ., , <br />Sec. 1, Section 6 of Ordinance No. 468, entitled: 4tAn Ordinance <br />Adopting Rules and Regulations Relative to Platting of Land,and the Dedication <br />of New Streets to be Shown on Such Plats", as amended by Ordinance No. 566, is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: . <br />rrSec. 6. Improvement of Streets. <br />A. Requirements: <br />a. The improvement plans shall be prepared on tracing cloth in <br />India Ink with a horizontal scale of one inch equals fifty <br />feet and a vertical scale of one inch equals five feet by the <br />Owner's Engineer, who shall be a Registered Professional <br />Engineer. An approved Regional Geodetic Survey datum and <br />bench mark shall be shown on the plan. The Improvement Plan <br />shall include the following: existing profile taken on the <br />center line and side lines of the street at intervals of <br />fifty feet and at such intermediate points where there is a <br />sharp break in grade, approved centerline profile, storm and <br />sanitary sewers, water mains, house connections, pavement, <br />and a typical cross-section of the roadway showing under- <br />ground installations and pavement and berm areas. <br />b. The established grade shall be the same as the proposed <br />centerline profile as shown on the Preliminary Profile and <br />approved by the Village Engineer. Grades shall be calculated <br />from each fifty foot station with vertical curves for each <br />grade change. <br />c. t~Th.erever outlets for sewers and water mains are available <br />to the allotment, the Owner must install and connect at <br />his own cost all storm and sanitary sewers, culverts, water <br />mains, and connections for each sub lot for sewers and water <br />
