ORDINANCE NO. 79-10 <br />INTRODUCED BY: Mr. Bennett <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS <br />1309.05 AND 1157.08(e) OF THE CODIFIED <br />ORDINANCES PERTAINING TO PERN?LT FEES. <br />WHEREAS, Sectiors 1309.05 and 1157(e) of the Codified <br />Ordinances were enacted in 1974; and <br />WHEREAS, due to the inflation which as occurred since <br />1974 the permit fees contained in Section 1309.05 and 1157.08(e) <br />are inadequate to provide sufficient funds to insure proper <br />inspection of buildings within the municipality and to provide <br />adequate reimbrusement to the Village for its expenses incurred <br />in such inspection; now, therefore <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF MAYFIELD VILLAGE, OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Sections 1309.05 and 1157.08(e) of the <br />Codified oFdinances of Mayfield Village, Ohio, shall be amended <br />to read as follows: <br />1309.05 SEPARATE PERNIIIT FEES. <br />The following schedule of separate permit fees shall be <br />used where the total lump sum fees do not apply: <br />(a) Detached garages and other accessory buildings. <br />For a permit covering construction of detached garages <br />to single-family dwellings and two-family dwellings, a <br />fee of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) plus One Dollar ($1.00) for <br />each 100 square feet or fraction thereof of floor space. For <br />a permit covering construction of accessory buildings to <br />single-family dwellings and two-family dwellings, a fee of <br />TenJDbllars ($10.00) plus One Dollar ($1.00) for each 100 <br />square feet or fraction thereof of floor space, with such <br />floor space limited to 192 square feet. <br />(b) Alteration, addition, etc. to existing.dwellings. <br />For a;germ?t coverzng_any__alteration, addition, repair <br />or remodeling of'existing dwellings, except apartment house <br />or multi-family dwellings, a fee of Twenty Dollars ($20.00) <br />plus Two Dollars ($2.00) for each 100 square feet or fraction <br />thereof of additional or remodeled floor space. <br />(c) Ai't??&t-ibri,"addi'tion, etc. to <br />s. <br />and <br />For a permit covering alterations, additions, repairs or <br />remodeling of apartment buildings, whether high-rise or <br />otherwise, commercial buildings or any other buildings not <br />included in subsection (b) hereof, a fee of Fifty Dollars <br />($50.00) plus Three Dollars ($3.00) for each 100 square feet
