Leech and Bordonaro <br />AN ORDINANCE TO CREATE A PLANNED DEVELOPMEPIT DISTRICT <br />ZONING CLASSIFICATION FOR THE VILLAGE OF <br />HAYFIELD, OHIO <br />~, <br />WHEREAS, Council finds that certain large tracts of <br />land in the Village remain undeveloped; and <br />i9HEREAS, newly devised innovative and imaginative land <br />~" <br />planning techniques permit the development of a variety of <br />housing types and compatible commercial developments on <br />large tracts of land, while preserving the charm, beauty and <br />/~ rustic character of tY.e land by leaving undeveloped large areas <br />--1, <br />of open space; and <br />WHEREAS, Council finds that it would be conducive to the <br />i.:.ia ii:. ::ealtli, Yea C.::, ~.:..~G~..y, .,...-,-......:: ~, ~. ~:.Y cii.s, :,.... .._.......:,.::,.:. <br />and general welfare of the Village to create a zoning classifi- <br />cation to permit such wise and imaginative planning of large <br />areas of our Village; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY 'PINE COUNCIL OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA COUNTY AND STATE OF OHIO, <br />THAT: <br />Section 1. Statement of Objectives of Ordinance. <br />The Village contains tracts of land ~ohich have not been <br />developed to their full potential. To best preserve the <br />charm, beauty and character of.these tracts and the rustic, <br />rural and residential character of the Village as a whole, <br />these tracts (and others of a similar nature) may be placed <br />
