<br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO APSEND SECTIONS 1 AND 2 OF ORDINANCE
<br />N0. 1067, ENTITLED: "AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR
<br />THE ISSUE OP SPECIAL ASSESSMENT BONDS IN ANTICIPATION OF THE
<br />COLLECTION OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR THE II4PROVEPfENT OF LANDER
<br />ROAD BETWEEN CERTAIN TERPfINI BY GRADING, DRAINING, CURBING,
<br />PAVING (INCLUDING CURB CONNECTIONS WHERE NECESSARY,) AND IN-
<br />STALLING SIDEWALKS, TOGETI3ER WITIi ALL NECESSARY APPURTENANCES .1°

<br />WHEREAS, on June 17, 1968, Council of the Village of Payfield, Ohio,
<br />passed Ordinance No. 1066, levying special assessments in the aggregate amount
<br />of $35,664.54, to provide a fund for the payment of principal and interest of
<br />bonds to be issued in anticipation of the collection of special assessments
<br />for the improvement of Lander Road between certain termini, by grading, draining,
<br />curbing, paving (including curb connections where necessary,) and installing
<br />sidewalks, together with all necessary appurtenances, and the Clerk-Treasurer
<br />has certified that said special assessments in the aggregate sum of $10,248.1G~
<br />have been paid in cash, during the period provided by law for said improvemen .
<br />NO[d, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAY-
<br />FIELD, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, STATE OF OHIO, THAT:
<br />Section 1. Sections 1 and 2 of Ordinance No. 1067, entitled: "An
<br />Emergency Ordinance to Provide for the Issue of 'Special Assessment Bonds in
<br />Anticipation of the Collection of Special Assessments for the Improvement of
<br />Lander Road between certain Termini by Grading, Draining, Curbing, Paving
<br />(Including Curb Connections where Necessary,) and Installing Sidecualks, To-
<br />gether with all Necessary Appurtenances," passed June 17, 1968, are hereby
<br />amended to read as follozas:
<br />"Section 1. To provide a fund for the payment of
<br />the cost and expense in anticipation of the collection of special
<br />assessments herein levied for the improvement of Lander Road;- in the
<br />Village of Mayfield, Ohio, between the termini, and in the manner
<br />specified in Resolution No. 666, adopted January 17, 1966, and in
<br />accordance with Ordinance No. 1066, passed June 17, 1968, it is
<br />necessary to issue and sell special assessment bonds of the Village
<br />of Mayfield, Ohio, in the aggregate amount of $25,400.00, which
<br />amount includes an amount estimated to be sufficient to pay the in-
<br />terest on said bonds, until the first collection of the assessments
<br />anticipated by these bonds is received.
<br />"Section 2. Said bonds shall be numbered 1 to 26,
<br />inclusive; shall bear interest at the rate of 5% per annum, payable
<br />semi-annually on the first days of June and December of each year,
<br />beginning December 1, 1968; shall be of the denomination of $1,000.00
