J <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1083 <br />BY: MR. COMELLA <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MOVING OF <br />BUILDINGS WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD AND REPEALING <br />ORDINANCE N0. 734. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF HAYFIELD, COUNTY OF <br />CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO, THAT: <br />Section 1. Permit Required. No person, firm or corporation shall <br />move any building or structure, or substantial part thereof, over, along or <br />across any highway or street, whether dedicated or undedicated, private property <br />or public grounds, within the Village of Mayfieldn-onto any premises within the <br />Village, without obtaining a permit therefor, which permit shall not be granted <br />without compliance with the provisions of this Ordinance and all other applicable <br />provisions of the Building Codes of the Village, not inconsistent therewith. <br />Section 2. Application fir Permit. The applicant for a permit under <br />this Ordinance shall file in the office of the Building Inspector a written ap- <br />plication on such form as may be provided by the Building Inspector, and shall <br />contain the following information: <br />(a) A description of the building proposed to be moved, giving street <br />number, construction materials, exterior dimensions and heights, number of rooms <br />and condition of exterior and interior, and sufficient structural information so <br />that the Building Inspector may determine that the building, when moved, will <br />comply with the Building Code. <br />(b) A description of the lot from which the building is to be moved, <br />if located in the Village, and a description of the lot to which it is proposed <br />such building be removed, if located within the Village. <br />(c) A plat plan showing the proposed location of the building when <br />moved, if the building is to be moved to a lot within the corporate limits of <br />the Village. <br />(d) The highways, streets and alleys over, along or across which the <br />building is proposed to be moved. <br />(e) The proposed moving date and hours, including the length of time <br />estimated in the moving. <br />(f) Photographs of all the elevations of the building. <br />(g) Any additional information which the Building Inspector shall find <br />necessary for a thorough inspection of the building and a fair determination of <br />whether a permit should be issued. <br />(h) If the building is to be moved cvithin the corporate limits of the <br />Village, the names and addresses of the property owners on both sides of the street <br />of the block upon which the building is to be moved. <br /> <br />
