OF THE POLICE.DEPARTMENT.. ' <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF MAYFIELD, CUYAHOGA <br />COUNTY,_,OHIO, _THAT;_. <br />SeC. 1. Section 3 of Ordinance No. 583, entitled: "An <br />Ordinance to Provide for the Tenure and Compensation of Members of <br />the Police Department, to Add,the Position of Sergeant of Police and <br />to Repeal Ordinance No. 479, as Amended by Ordinance No. 548", as <br />amended by_Ordinances Nos.850 and 895, is hereby amended to.read as <br />follows: <br />"Sec. 3, Compensation and Allowance for Uniforms. The <br />following compensa ion s a e pai , eginning as o uly.l, <br />1965, but may be changed by Council, by Ordinance or Resolution: <br />" Overtime Hrly Rate <br />Marshall or Chief of Police ?$7,600.00 per year ,.. . <br />Sergeant of Police: <br />During first three years $5,950,00 per year $2,60 <br />Thereafter at rate of $6,500.00 per year $2.75 <br />Regular Policeman: <br />At rate for 6 month period $4,800,00 per year $2,10 <br />of- probation . <br />Thereafter for his second <br />six months of service at <br />rate of $5,000,00 per year $2.20 <br />Thereafter during his <br />second 12 mos, of service <br />at rate of $5,400,00 per year $2,35 <br />After 24 months of <br />service at the rate of $5,930.00 per year $2,50 <br />Any hours worked in excess of 44 hours in any one <br />week shall be considered as overtime, <br />Special Policemen $2,10 per ea, hr
