Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />February 15, 1954 <br />The Council met in regular meeting on February 15, 1954' at 8:00 <br />P. M, at.the Village Hall, Mayor Donald Hodgson presiding. _ <br />Roll Call: Present Messrs Endress, Beard, UPhiting, Oatess, Taylor <br />and Swanson <br />Absent . RTOne. <br />The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 18, 1954, were read. <br />It was moved by Ia~r. ~~Vhiting, and seconded by Mr. Endress, that the minutes <br />be approved as read. ' <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Endress,Beard,Whiting,Qatess,Taylor ~. Swanson <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />The Minutes of the Special Meeting of February la., 1954 were read. <br />Mayor Hodgson. noted that the N(~.nutes stated that the proposed pumping <br />station was to be erected on Vdilson Mills Road, whereas in fact the proposed <br />pumping station is to be erected on Beech Hill Road near ~7Pilson Mills Road. <br />It was moved by Mr. Nihiting, and seconded by Mr. Beard, that the minutes <br />be approved as read, subject to the correction noted by I+dayor Hodgson® <br />Ro11 Call: Ayes- Messrs Endress,Beard,lNhiting,0atess,Taylor & Swanson. <br />Nays - None® <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Mayor Hodgson asked for the report of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission. Mr. Swanson, Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />discussed the proposed water main for Ridgebury Boulevard, which has been <br />under investigation. Further investigation of the problem and. discussion <br />of the proposed improvement with the residents of the Village.of Iviayf field <br />who are on Ridgebury Boulevard is to be undertakeno <br />Mr. Demore of the Pease Engineering Compan<p stated that Mayor <br />Ritter of the City of Mayfield Heights stated that that municipality is <br />willing to share the burden of a service main on Ridgebur~r Boulevard in <br />Mayfield Village, The total improvement would extend easterly from Lander <br />Road for 2980 rlineal feet on Ridgebury Boulevard, but the Mayfield Village <br />portion is one half of the cost of laying the water main 1570 lineal feet. <br />The water main is to continue in an easterly direction beyond .the limits <br />of the Village of Mayfield to the beginning of the I~6ayfield Heights Golf Course. <br />The cost for the Village of Mayfield is ten thousand eight hundred and fifty <br />(10,850 ) dollars, or a cost of approximately six dollars .and ninety one cents <br />(6.91) per front foot. <br />1. <br />
