<br />Minutes of the Regulas Meeting <br />August 15, 1960 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayf ield met in regular meeting at the <br />Town Hall at S:OU P. M., Mayor Endress presiding. - - <br />Roll Call :- Present - Messss Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed <br />and Belzer <br />Absent - None. <br />The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of July 18, 1960, were then read <br />to Council. It was moved by Mrs. Brown, seconded by Mr. Zorn, that the Minutes <br />of the Regular Meeting be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call : Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Belzer. <br />Nays - Noae. <br />. Motion.carried <br />. Minutes approved <br />Mayor Endress then congsatulated Council on the fact that they.were <br />all present. . <br />Mayor Enclress then wer?t on to say that there was one thing: that had <br />been left undone; that there was no Police Relief and Pension Boarde There <br />was some discussion in Council about this and it developed that two Council <br />members, Mr. Bennett and Mr. Belzer, had been elected to this Board, which <br />had as yet not met in regular sessioaa. <br />Mr. Bennett, reporting f or the Buflding Committee, discussed the <br />painting of the Town Hall and the probable cost thereof. It was -felt.that, <br />if the Village could supply the paint, there was the possibility of having it <br />done by interested citizens and off icials of the village at no extra cost. <br />It was then moved by Mrs. Brown, seconded by Mr. Wedler, that paint <br />be purchased for the Town Hall. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Belzer. <br />. Nays - None. - <br />Motion carried <br />Mrse Brown,reporting for the Welfare Committee, read the Minutes of a <br />meeting held at the Town Hall on July.27, 1960. At this meeting, Mrs. Bardou <br />listed debts of $268.57 owed by the Recreation Committee.and asked the Village <br />f or $250.00 for operating expenses. <br /> <br />1 0
