Minutes. of the Regular Meeting <br />April 18, 1966 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular meeting at the <br />Town Hall at 8:00 P. M., Mayor Bennett presiding. <br />Roll Call: Present - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Davis. <br />Absent - None. <br />It was moved by Mr. Shaw and seconded by Mr..Busa, that the minutes be <br />approved and passed as subtnitted. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Mayor Bennett called on Mr. Peterson who discussed the Burke Culvert. The <br />cost oP re-locating and extending the culvert would be $3,400; $600 without elbow. <br />Mr. Peterson also discussed the patching of Worton Park Drive North of <br />Hemingway. He stated that the contractors estimated the patching only at $500. <br />The total cost of repaving would cost $26,000. The Village's share would be $520. <br />The corner lot on Hemmingway and Wilson Mills knocks off 400 feet of accessible <br />f rontage. Estimated assessment f or remainder is $10.50 per f oot. <br />. Mr. Davis, seconded by Mr. Busa, moved to authorize the Engineer to draw <br />up specifications f or proposed paving of Worton Park Drive, North of Hemmingway. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />, Motion carried <br />Contractor, Schloss Paving Company, wants thorough inspection by the <br />Village of the road North of Hemmingway before trucks haul over it because of <br />current condition of surf ace. <br />Mr. Shaw questioned Mr. Peterson on S.O.M. Center Road.sidewalks. Mr. <br />Peterson had nothing to report except that the f ield work is practically <br />completed. - <br />. Mayor Bennett called on Mr. Davis for Building Committee report. Mr. <br />Davis stated that the landscaping f or the Village Hall is nearly completed. <br />? Mr. Davis also reported that the Recreation Committee meeting was attended <br />by representatives of Highland Heights, Mayfield Village and Mayfield Heigtlts. <br />They were concerned with keeping a gym open a11 year round, however, this ;has <br />not been presented to the School Board. <br />1.
