Minutes of the Regular Meeting May 16 , 1966 ? The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular meeting at the Town Hall'at 8:10 P. M., Mayor Bennett presiding. Roll Call: Present - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Davis. Absent - None. The Minutes of the regular meeting of April 18, 19669 were read and corrected. It was moved by Mr. Shaw and seconded by Mre Busa that the Minutes be approved as corrected. Ro11 Ca11: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan & Davis ° Nays - None. Motion Carried Minutes Approved Mayor Bennett introduced Anthony D°Agostino as his new appointment f or Building Inspector and Assistant Road Foreman for approval by Council. Mr. Shaw, seconded.by Mr;'Davis, moved to confirm Mr. DeAgostino°s appointment as Building Inspector and Assistant Road.Foreman. Mr. Edelman sworn in Mr. D°Agostino. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason,Sloatt & Davis. Nays - None, Motion carried Appointment confirmed Mayor Bennett then asked f or reports from committees. Mr. Davis, reporting for the Building Committee, stated that the new service building is landscaped. The Village Hall landscaping was begun and should be completed next week. . Mr. Sloan, reporting for the'Safety and Service Committee, read the Minutes of the meeting of May 2, 1966. The committee authorized the purchase of a powder fire extinguisher, costing $18.20, and a pressurized water extinguisher costing $25.00 for use in the furnace• room. . The committee asked that a price be gotten from the Schloss Paving.Company for the circle!at the end of Metro Park and Zorn lane. Mayor Bennett stated that three (3) inches of asphalt would cost $810.00. It will cost $25,00 to transport Schloss' big roller, and $10.00 per hour for use of a.driver and roller, as opposed to using our own smaller roller. This price is to be checked by the Village Engineer and Zester Foltz. 1.
