<br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />August 15, 1966 <br />The regular meeting of the Council of the Village of Mayfield was called <br />to order by Mayor Bennett at 8:00 P. M. <br />The Clerk-Treasurer called the roll for attendance. Present: Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan and Davis. <br />Absent: None. <br />In the July 18, 1966 Minutes, Page 2, "$3500.00 is included in contract" <br />is to be dropped. <br />Mre Shaw, seconded by Mr:Busa, moved that_the Minutes be approved as <br />corrected. , . <br />Roll Calls Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan and Davis. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Mayor Bennett then called f or.committee reports. <br />Building Committee.- Mr. Davis. <br />Village Hall and Roof have been painted. Many commented on how nice it <br />looked.. <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Sloan, _ <br />? <br />Mr. Peterson reported one bid f or-tarring and chipping of Bonnieview,'Seneca and Glenview, from Pioneer Paving Company f or $407.5.00. <br />After discussion concerning the time element_, Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. <br />Sloan, made a motion to reject all bids f or shooting of Bonnieview, <br />Seneca and Glenview until Spring. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan and Davis. <br />_ Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Since Seneca needs repair bef ore Spring, Mr. Foltz suggested that the , <br />Service Department repair it themselves. <br />Mr. Shaw, seconded by Mr. Davis, introduced a resolution authorizing the <br />purchase of a salt spreader not to exceed $990.00. <br />. . 1.
