<br />Tllnute.s of Regular Nieeting <br />r7ay 15, 1967 <br />The Council of the Village of rlayfield met in regular session at the <br />Village City Hall on Aionday, NTay 15, 1967, at 8:00 P. M., iNIayor Bennett <br />presiding. <br />Roll Call: Present - clayor Bennett, Nlessrs Shaw, Busa, Wallcer, Tiason, <br />- Sloan and Davis. <br />Absent - None <br />Mr. Busa, seconded by rlr. Mason, moved that the minutes of the April <br />17, 1967, meeting be accepted as read. . <br />Ro11 Call: Ayes - Messrs Shaw, Busa, Walker, Mason, Sloan and Davis. <br />Nays - None. • Motion carried <br />Building Committee - Mr. Davis: <br />. <br />Mr. llavis has contacted somebody to do the work in the Clerk-Treasurer's <br />office. A light will be installed over the basement door. <br />Safety and Service - Mr. Sloan. <br />Mr. Sloan recommended that a study be made to instiall an auxiliary <br />generator f or the Village Hall. <br />I'ire Chief Ilejcl and his men will participate in meeting at Nientor. <br />Patrolman Smith has completed a Seminar at Portsmouth. <br />It was recommended that the County be contacted before striping the <br />streets and roads. Chief Shortle has been tryind to do this. NIr. Foltz will <br />work with Chief Shortle in striping the roadse <br />Mr. D'Agostino will go ahead caith the entrance and exit signs for tlie <br />Village of Mayfield. ' Neta incinerators and disposers have been recommended f or all-new dwellings. <br />A group f rom Kenwooci asked for pertziission to purchase, install, and <br />maintain street signs ancl gas lights. Mr. Edelman would like to know if they <br />wish to install them on private or village property. <br />Mr. Lavis, seconded by Mr. Shaw, introduceci Ordinance No. 1003, entitled: <br />"An Ordinance Amending-Sections 2 and 3 oi Ordinance #715 by P.equiring?Installation <br />of Both Garbage Disposers and Tncinerators in All New Horaes and Buildings HeLeafter <br />Constructed Within the Village of Mayfield, Ohio;??hich resolution was given its <br />first reading. <br />1.
