Minutes of the Regular Meeting May 21, 1962 The Council of the Village of Mayf ield met in regular meeting at the Town Hall at 8:00 .P, Mm, Mayor Endress presidingo Ro11 Call: Present - Messrs Zorn, Wedler, Bennett, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. Absent - Noneo . The Minutes of the regular meeting of April 16., 1962, were then read to Councila It was moved by Mr. Zorn, seconded by Mro Belzer, that the Minutes of the Regular Meeting be apprqved and passed as reade Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn, Wedler, Bennett, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. Naqs - None. Motion carried Minutes Approved, Mayor Endress then asked about our Interim Ordinanee which had been placed upon its first readingo. Mr, Edelman said that he had an amendment to this ordinance which had been suggested by the Regional Planning Commission and approved bq the Zoning & Planning Commission. This pertained to access to streets. There was a great deal of discussion in Council about this amendment because of the directive from the State that there should be no. access street within 600 feet of the interchange. This would cut off a great deal of property near the interchange. It was then moved by Mr. Zorn, seconded by Mra Belzer, that a second reading of Ordinance Noe 763 be tabled until further information was.available on this directivea Roll Calle Ayes - Messrs Zorn, Wedler, Bennett, Sloan and Belzer. Nays - Mr. Mason. , Motion carried It was then moved by Mrm Wedler, seconded by Mrm Zorn, that a.second reading of Ordinance No. 764 be tabled also. .. Ro11 Call; Ayes - Messrs Zorn, Wedler, Bennett, Mason, Sloan & Belzer. Nays - None. Motion carried Mayor Endress then presented to Council a petition signed,by residents on the South side of Wilson M ills Road asking that their property also be re- zoned for commercial use. This petition was then referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission f or study and recommendations to Council. Mr, Zorn then told the people that Conncil was in favor of this,_ but that it would need a lot of investigation before anything could be decided, Mayor Endress said that if the North side of Wilson Mills was re-zoned the South side should be considered also, but in looking over the area and thinking of the 175 foot depth o£ the lots in question, a lot of work would have to be done before the Zoning and Plannzng Commission could resoZve this problem, and that the the Regional Planning Commission - should analyze this aream le
