~~ MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING Village of Mayfield Village October 20, 1975 The Council of the Village of Mayfield Village met in regular session at the Village Hall on Monday, October 20, 1975 at 8:05 P.M. Council President, Frank Prager presided. The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Barclay, Bennett, Bluhm, Mrs. Negrelli and Messrs., Prager and Schulte Absent Mayor Leech and Mr. Ficken Also present were Messrs., Amendola, Byrnes, Foltz, Hovancsek, Relic and Chief Hejcl and Chief Shortle Mr. Prager advised Council of additions to the Agenda. Mr. Prager opened the meeting by asking for comments from the floor. KaV DelBrocco, 6820 Thornapple Dr., questioned Council as to what has happened to the bike path plan. Mr. Prager answered that Council has acted and agreed to the cost of the path. However, SOM Center Rd. will be under sewer construction for the Aintree North Subdivision and it was decided to hold off putting in the bike path because portions of it would have to be broken for the construction. There- fore, as soon as the road work is completed the bike path would be put in, which will probably be early Spring. Robert Grogan, 480 Oakton Circle, suggested to Council that moral and financial support be given by the Village to the City of Eastlake in their fight against zoning changes. Mr. Prager replied that we will try to support them morally s~.nce their Charter is similar to that of the Villages. Mr. Relic stated that he believes a trust fund has been set up for donations from private donors for this case. There being no further discussion from the floor, that segment of the meeting concluded. Mr. Barclay, seconded by Mr. Schulte, made a motion to approve the minutes of the August 26, 1975 Special Meeting.
