<br />MIIVUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />Village of Mayfield <br />i August 21, 1972 <br />I <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session at <br />Mayfield Village Ha11 on Monday, August 21, 1972 at 8:08 p.m. Mayor <br />Beebe presided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was givene <br />Roll Call: Presents Mayor Beebe, Messrs. Bordonaro, Braun, <br />Davis, Leech, and Schmidt <br />Absenta Mr. Boger <br />Also present were Messrse Edelcnan, Hovancse'k, D'Agostino, Chiefs Hejql <br />and Shortle. <br />Comments from the floor: <br />Mro Rav Schwenker, 6571 Wilson Mills Road, asked to be updated on the <br />tree planting program as there were some holes that needed to be filled <br />in on his property. Mayor Beebe repl.ied he didn,t have a complete ans- <br />wer and requested Mr. D'Agostino to take care of the matter. <br />Mr. Bob Kreckels 552 Zorn Lane, inquired about the status of the trailer <br />ordinance. Mayor Beebe stated Council has not completed action as it is <br />still in the hands of the Ordinance Review Commi.tteee <br />Mrs. Ruth Gillis4 6180 Wilson Mi11s Road: "In the interest of peace <br />and justice, I would like to ask a few questions". She went on to ask <br />Mr. D9Agostino if he had ever set a grade on Hickory Hill to which he <br />said it was the Engineer's job, Mr. Hovancsek. She also wanted to know <br />if in that development-the grades were set for each individual house at <br />the time of layout or at the time of construction and was the grade set <br />when the building permit was granted. Mr. Hovancsek stated the grades <br />are set when the building permit has been granted. Mrs. Gillis: The <br />Village does not have a 3ega1 responsibility to do this work and asked <br />if we were underminding a civil war? Where is the moral obligation on <br />the part of these residents. Would like to see the £ederal people come <br />in with funds to handle all the problem areas. Mayor Beebe concluded by <br />saying all questions should be answered when the problem is discussed <br />later on the agenda. <br />Mayor Beebe asked the minutes of the July 17 meeting be approved. Mr. <br />5chmidt requested a correction of the minutes regarding the Ordinance <br />72-25 for payment of Calfee, Halter, Calfee, Griswold, and Sommer to <br />which he voted "Nayrr. <br />Mr. Schinidt seconded by Mr. Davis, moved the minutes of the J'uly 17 <br />1972 meeting be.approved and accepted as corrected.
