MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETIiJG Village of Mayfield Dec. 20, 1971 The Council of the Village of T4iayfield met in regular session at Mayfield Village Hall on IvTonday, December 20, 1971 at 8:15 ~'.NI., Mayor Vince J. Busa, presiding. The ledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. Roll Call:. Present: Mayor Busa, Messrs. beech, Fitz- Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. Absent: None. Also present were Tt~Tessrs. D'Agostino, Edelman, Hovancsek, Relic, Chief Hejcl and Sgt. Litman. i~Ir. Leech, seconded by itr. Leech, Fitz-Gerald, Bordonaro, Boger, Schmidt and Davis. NAYS: iVone. Motion Carried Minutes Approved Robert Shaw: Mayor Busa asked Councilman Fitz-Gerald to honor the memory of Robert Shaw, a former councilman, who died recently. With bowed heads the assemblage paused for a few brief words in tribute to him and his family. Old Business• Cleveland Water 8c Sewer Tap-in Court Case i'ro~ress Report: 1~Ir. Edelman: The City of Cleveland, which had previously been ordered by the water pollution board not to grant building permits, has made most of the suburbs, including the village of Mayfield, parties to the pending litigation. Judge McMonagle has stated that a plan be filed by Jan. 10, 1972 and there will be a hearing on the plan on Jan. 18. t~Ir. Edelman recommended that the village approve a county water authority in plan, the effective plan to be submitted to council later.
