L) <br />57 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />April 20, 1987 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Regular Session on Monday, April <br />20, 1987, at 8:02 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Village Hal1. <br />Council President Santo Basile presided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Mr. Basile, Mr. Etzler, Mr. Flynn, and Mr. Goley <br />Absent : Mr. Petschauer <br />Also Present Were . Mayor Carmen, Mr. Feneli, rir. Patrick, Chief Stevens, <br />Acting Chief Mohr, and Miss Heath. <br />OPEN PORTION <br />Bob Jamieson, 6736 Hickory Hill Drive - said he has some comments regarding <br />the proposed street lighting for the Hickory Hill area. The cost would be <br />approximately $1,000.per uxiit. On that basis he made a survey of the homes <br />in the neighborhood: One vote per home was considered. According to the <br />survey, 63% of the residents were against street lights, 11.8% were for them, <br />21.4% were'not at home, and 3.3% abstained or it was a split vote.per home. <br />Mr. Jamieson subinitted the petiti.ons to Council and asked that they consider <br />this information when making their decision. He said possibly.this proposal <br />would be more acceptable to the residents if it were paid for by the Village. <br />Marie Coffey, Viacom - said she is here regarding the transfer of control of <br />Viacom. to National Amusements. She said sYie would like to assure Mayor <br />Carmen and Council that.National Amusements has solid financial backing. <br />The system will be ruri by the same people and in the same manner; there will <br />be no changes. Mrs. Coffey asked that they consider suspending the rules <br />and pass the legislation without three readings. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br />Special Meeting of Council - March 9, 1987 - Mr. Goley, seconded by Mr. Etzler, <br />made a motion to approve the minutes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Minutes Approved <br />Public Hearing of Council - March 16, 1987 - Mr. Etzler, seconded by Mr. <br />Flynn, made a motion to approve the minutes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Minutes Approved <br />Regular Meeting of.Council - March 16, 1987 - Isr.
