MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />May 17,1993 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Regular Session on Monday, May 17,1993, in <br />the Council Chambers at Village Hall. Council President Joanne Cinco presided. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Basile, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Fixler, <br />Mr. Flynn, and Mrs. Leppla <br />Absent: None <br />Also Present Were: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Amendola, Mr. Brett, Mr. Diemert, <br />Mr. Hovancsek, Chief Mohr, Chief Stevens, and Miss Heath <br />OPEN PORTION <br />Jerome Catalano, 6752 Hickory Hill Drive - said now that D.O. Summers has their <br />rezoning, he hopes there is very strong scrutiny with Council over Planning and Zoning <br />that we don't have another "Barnum and Bailey" like we have on Beta Drive (in respect <br />to the decor and the exterior colors, etc.) He said if you check the D.O. Summers in <br />Lyndhurst, it looks like a circus fair. <br />Mr. Catalano said along S.O.M. Center, every so often we get used car lots popping up. <br />He understands the owner can put his car on the front lawn if it is his own vehicle. One <br />yard hacl two of them the other day; he would like to have it checked into. <br />Mayor Rinker said in respect to D.O. Summers, pure aesthetics are not something we <br />definitely work on, however, he knows from experience that the Architectural Review <br />Board is very conscious about those aesthetic aspects. He is sure they will be looking at <br />that very carefully. <br />Pat Negrelli, Mayfield Township Historical Society - expressed thanks to Mayor Rinker <br />and Council for the vote of confidence in us. At this point, they have six rooms <br />finished. They had a very successful open house and they are achieving their goal. <br />Mayor Rinker said he can attest to that; he was there Arbor Day and it looks nice. <br />Shirley Coyne, 6910 Wilson Mills Road - said she had a statement she would like to <br />read.
