Special Council Meeting <br />5-3-99 <br />Page 1 <br />MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />May 3, 1999 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in special session on Monday, May 3, 1999, at 9:15 p.m. <br />(immediately following the Council Caucus) in the Mayfield Village Senior Center/Community <br />Room. Council President Bill Marquardt presided. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Buckholtz, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Fixler, <br />Mr. Marquardt, Mrs. Mills and Dr. Parker <br />Absent: None <br />Also Present: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Brett, Mr. Cappello, Mr. Diemert, <br />Mr. Hovancsek, Mr. Metzung, Chief Mohr, Mr. Samac, <br />Chief Stevens, Mr. Thomas and Mrs. Roman <br />Council President Marquardt said there were 2 items on the agenda and requested a motion to <br />amend the agenda to include consideration of the expenditure for the Parks & Recreation <br />brochure. <br />Mr. Fixler, seconded by Mr. Buckholtz, made a motion to amend the agenda to include <br />consideration of an expenditure in an amount not to exceed $4,000 to Minuteman Press for the <br />printing of the first Parks & Recreation brochure. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Agenda Amended <br />Mr. Fixler, seconded by Mr. Buckholtz, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in an amount <br />not to exceed $4,000 to Minuteman Press. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Ni2ht Lighting <br />Council President Marquardt asked which option Council wished to select-43 or #5. <br />Mr. Muhlbach said he had asked about ambient lighting. He indicated we could get a nice gentle <br />glow by turning individual heads as opposed to all the lights at once. With the low level of light <br />there is the possibility of ballfield lighting.
