311 MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL Mayfield Village August 21, 1995 The Council of Mayfield Village met in regular session on Monday, August 21, 1995, at 8:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Village Hall. Council President Mark Fixler presided. ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Basile, Mr. Buckholtz, Mr. Busa, Mr. Ferrante, ? Mr. Fixler and Mr. Flynn co Absent: Mrs. Cinco ? z Also Present: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Amendola Mr. Brett, Mr. Cappello, ? Mr. Diemert, Chief Mohr, Mr. Samac, Sgt. Dearden, and Miss Heath Mike Monaco, 6442 Highland Road, said he and the Septic Association would like to thank Mr. Fixler for helping them out at the meeting on August 1st and for stating to the Commissioners that he would fight tooth and nail to stop any further sewering of the city streets unless adequate funding was available from either the County, State or Federal government. The Commissioners stated that they had received not one letter in favor of any of the sewer project in the Village. Commissioner Boyle said she does not care what Mayfield Village does in the future for sewers. As far as she is concerned, the trunk line is it. It is a done deal as far as the County is concerned; nothing else is on the plans or will be planned. The County, wants nothing more to do with any more sewers. Mr. Monaco said we need to get out to the real estate people and the banks that there is nothing happening; there is no need for a decrease in property values and anybody who wants to sell a house in the Village now that is not on the main trunk line--the only assessment they are going to get is an indirect and there are no plans for future sewering.
