IlL 5 <br />MINUTES OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Village of Mayfield <br />March 8, 1982 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayf ield met in Special Session on Monday, <br />March 8, 1982 at 8:17 P.M. in the Village Hall. Council President, <br />Michael W. Spellman, presided. <br />Council President Spellman announced that Mr. Flynn will not be present <br />this evening. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Busa, Carmen, Etzler, Spellman, Mrs. Bloom <br />and Mrs. Hanus <br />Absent : Mayor Beebe, Mr. Flynn, Mrs. Maynard <br />Also Present Were . Messrs., Amendola, Feneli, Hovancsek, and Mrs: <br />Ruggles <br />Council President Spellman stated this Special Meeting was called to <br />discuss litigation and any other matter before Council. He stated Mr. <br />Sutton of Sutton Insurance was in the audience and has a presentation <br />to make. <br />Council President Spellman asked the audience if anyone wished to make <br />a statement before Council to necessitate an "open portion" to the <br />meeting. <br />There were no comments from the audience. <br />Council President Spellman asked Mr. Ben Sutton to make his presentation. <br />Mr. Sutton stated his firm has completed reviewing and rehabilitating the <br />insurance program for the Village. He stated their objective is to provide <br />the largest and most economical catastrophe liability insurance using the <br />broadest available insurance forms. He explained he added some deductibles <br />to our policies which will make the Village a more desirable risk to <br />insurance companies in the future. <br />Mr. Sutton read the corrections to our present policy they feel are necessary <br />as listed in their October letter to the Village. <br />Mr. Sutton stated they have prepared the set of specifications as they would <br />issue them for the Village. He recommends the Village go out for public bid <br />on these specif ications.
