<br />MINUTES.OF.THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Village .of Mayf ield <br />November 15, 1982 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayf ield met in Regular Session on Monday, <br />November 15,. 1982, at 8:12 p.m. in the Village Hal1. Council President, <br />Michael W. Spellman, presided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Busa, Carmen, Etzler, Flynn, Spellman, Mrs. <br />Bloom and Mrs. Hanus <br />Absent : None <br />Also Present Were . Mayor Beebe, Mr. Feneli, Mr. Fo1tz, Mr. Hovancsek, <br />Mrs. Martin, Mrs. Ma.ynard, Mrs. Ruggles, Chief Hejcl, <br />and Mr. Toth <br />OPEN PORTION <br />Mrs. Fitzgerald, 6900 Wilsbri.'Nlill8 Rbad - commented there are still problems <br />with the Beech.Hill Pumping Station overflowing. She stated there have been <br />at least ten overflows within the past six months. The occurrences are <br />usually between the hours of 4 p.m. and 7 a.m. or on Saturdays and Sundays, <br />when there is no attendant at the station.. She said the overflows create a <br />terrible odor and feels if an attendant was at the station regularly the <br />problem could be.overcomes There were few problems in the past when someone <br />attended the station regularly. <br />Mayor Beebe said he intended to discuss this problem during the "Mayor's <br />Comments" portion of the meeting. Mrs. Fitzgerald said she was in favor of a solution to the problem that <br />could incur a reasonable expense. <br />Mr. George Goley, 865'Larider'R6ad - reported the Mayf ield Village Auxiliary <br />Police unit has begun a fund raising campaign. Benef its will be derived by <br />the Police Department and the Community Room. They are selli:ng Entertainment <br />'83 books that contain ma.ny discount coupons. The books are available through <br />the Police Department or any Auxiliary Patrolman and sell for $20.00. He <br />asked for everyones support. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br />Special Meeting of Council'='Novembe'r'lst, 1982 - Mrs. Bloom noted that on <br />page two $35,000.00 should be'$39'500:00 and on page three, the tables are . <br />$15.00, not $5.00. Mr. Etzler said on page ten, Ordinance 82-88 was not <br />mentioned. That ordinance was changed from'Iritroduced by Councilma.n Etzler <br />to Introduced by Mayor'arid Couricil'as'a'Wliole; and given first reading. This <br />should be included in the minutes.
