MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Village of Mayf ield <br />February 20, 1984 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in Regular Session on Monday, <br />February 20, 1984, at 8:05 p.m: in the Village Ha11. Council President, <br />Richard C. Etzler, presided. <br />• The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call:. 'Present: Messrs., Basile, Etzler, Flynn, Goley, and Mrs. Bloom <br />Absent : - None <br />Also Present Were . Mayor Carmen, Mr. Feneli, Mr, Hovancsek (arrived at 8:25), <br />Mr. Toth, and Chief Hejcl <br />OPEN PORTION <br />Mr. Bill Marquardt, 6698 Wildwood Trail, asked the status of the road repair <br />work to be done on Wildwood. <br />Mayor Carmen said he is in the process of contacting all Wildwood residents <br />to let them know the status. The matter is presently in litigation and a <br />determination must be made as to what parties are liable. There is no trial <br />date set.at this time. A new legal.;counsel may be handling th.e case„and we <br />are awaitirig their input. He will be following up on the matter. <br />Cheri Goldstein, Girl Scout Leader, Troop 1244, introduced Renee Hosack and <br />Holly Steffens of Junior Troop 170, and Trese Derkacs of Cadette Troop 1318. <br />Each girl expressed their appreciation to the Mayor and Council for their <br />continuing support of the Girl Scouts and presented them with Girl Scout <br />cookies. <br />Mr. George Henwood, 6492 Foxboro Drive - said he has noticed many loose dogs <br />in the Aintree area lately. He feels the villagers should be reminded of <br />our animal ordinance. <br />Mr. Etzler said a new animal ordinance was included.on the tentative agenda <br />delivered to the residents. Council had not yet reviewed this ordinance, <br />thus it was not placed on tonight's agenda. This ordinance will provide for <br />a stronger enforcement of the present ordinance. . <br />Mre Edward Jers.e,_290 E. 218 Street, Euclid - presented Council.with a <br />Resolution on behalf_ of Senator Suster, expressing congzatu7_ations from the <br />House of Representatives for serving their term on Council. He read the <br />commendation. <br />Council thanked Mr. Jerse for the presentation.
