69 <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />June 16, 1986 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in Regular Session on Monday, <br />June 16, 1986, at 8:10 p.m. in .the Council Chambers at the Village Hall. <br />Council President Richard C. Etzler presided.. <br />Roll Call: Present: Mr. Basile, Mr. Etzler, Mr. Flynn, Mr. Goley, and <br />Mr. Petschauer <br />Absent : None <br />Also Present Were Mayor Carmen, Mr. Amendola, Mr. Feneli, Mr. Toth, <br />Mr. Hovancsek, Det. Sgt. Smith, Chief Hejcl <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />OPEN PORTION <br />Mr. William Schulz, 745 SOM Center Road - explained the drainage problem they <br />are having. The water is higher than his septic tank and is flooding his <br />, house. Water is also coming on .their pr.operty from other properties, <br />and is starting to get bad.._ Mr. Schultz-said he..thinks the problem is down <br />the stream from him. His septic tank is backing up and he must have it <br />pumped every year.. The neighbor must have her.septic tank pumped every <br />six months. He thinks that Mr. gmendola.is aware of the problem but they <br />don't seem to get anything done about it. <br />Mr. Amendola said he and Mr. Hovancsek looked at that problem earlier today. <br />Mayor Carmen asked Mr. Hovancsek and Mr. Ameridola to attend a meeting. <br />Wednesday morriing, at fiis-of£ice to='.discuss". fhis. '-He .said:?.he -would pro.vide <br />Council with the results of the meeting in their Friday packet. <br />'Mr..Larry Mact.ama, 537 Zorn Lane? - explained a problem on his property., A <br />culvert was put on the street in the last few years to catch the run-off, <br />which has created a river between his property and his neighbor, Mrs. Spinney. <br />It is making it difficult for him to maintain his property; he has seen up <br />to two feet of water in it at times. He would like someone to look at the <br />problem: <br />Mr. Amendola and Mr. Hovancsek will look at that problem a1so. <br />Mrs. Nancy Farinacci, 961 S.O.M. Center Road - Said she has a problem and has <br />been in contact with Mr. Ameridola but was advised that nothing will be.done <br />for a while. She said the Service Department, while working on the problem, <br />has cut the asphalt on.her driveway. She explained the problem which has to
