Center roads. She said she cannot count the number of rimes cars were nearly
sideswiped coming along the outside lane or if the light is red. She thinks it would be better if
motorists in the right lane were not permitted to turn right on red.
Mrs. Mills said Village Safety forces have been aware of the problems and that Lt. Jay has studied
that intersection several times. Mrs. Mills said the Village could have Lt. Jay look into it again.
Chief Stevens said it is his understanding that when the signal is reconfigured, the eastbound lane
for the signal west of Rt. 91 will be marked "right turn only".
Garv Noble. 793 Hanover Road. said that Hanover Woods residents received letters about
correcting their swales. He would like to know what corrective work needs to be done and why.
Mrs. Mills said that Mr. Hovancsek has not yet arrived. When he arrives, he will explain the
situation to Mr. Noble.
Mr. Flynn said that all residents in Hanover Woods were sent letters regazding the grading of their
swales and nothing will happen until next Spring.
Mr. Noble said he feels it is telling residents the swales are.their responsibility and it is the
residents who must correct the problem. How did the problem originate?
Mrs. Mills said Mr. Hovancsek will address these questions when he azrives.
