55 <br />MINUTES OF TBE REGULAR MEETTNG OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />Apri120, 1992 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in Regular Session on Monday, Apri120, 1992, at 8:04 p.m. <br />in the Council Chambers at the Village Hall. Council President Bruce Rinker presided. <br />ROLL CALL: <br />Present: Mr. Basile, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ferrante, Mr. Fixler, <br />Mr. Flynn, and Mr. Rinker <br />Absent: None <br />Also Present Were: Mr. Amendola, Mr. Hanculak (for Mr. Diemert), Mr. Louis <br />Hovancsek, Chief Mohr, Mr. Toth, and Miss Heath. <br />OPEN PORTTON <br />Ed Gottschling - 6801 Meadowood Drive -(Ex-President of Eastgate Estates Homeowner's <br />Association), said he would like to bring the following items to Council's attention; they are <br />questions that have been raised to him: <br />1) Street signs were white, then yellow, then red. Friends coming at night cannot see <br />them. <br />2) About S.O.M. Center being widened. When they try to get out onto S.O.M. by <br />Thornapple, there are occasions when there aze about 18 cars. Don't we have any clout with the <br />State? <br />3) When they blacktopped the streets last year they raised the level so high he has to drive. <br />down into his driveway. He said they put a veneer on there which is nasty. ff you would look, <br />you probably could see that many of them are like that. <br />Mr. Rinker said he will not put Steve Hovancsek's brother on the spot to ask him to answer these <br />questions now. Regazding S.O.M., they have looked into it with the County and knows we have <br />gone around with the County and State with this. They have been told on several occasions it is <br />effectively beyond our control. This is not the first time this has been brought to Council's <br />attention. <br />Mr. Gottschling said there is a meeting with O.D.O.T. on Apri128. <br />Mr. Rinker said we will have a representative from the Engineer's Office there who will bring up <br />that question. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br />Regular Council Meeting. March 16, 1992 - Mr. Basile, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion <br />to approve the minutes. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carrieri <br />Minutes Approved
