23~., <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Village of Mayfield <br />May 19, 1980 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular session on Monday, <br />May lg, 1g80 at 8:10 P.M. in the Village Hall. Council President, Alan <br />Bennett presided. <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />Roll Call: Present: Messrs., Bennett, Boger, Carmen, Flynn, Mrs. Hanus <br />and Miss Trask <br />Absent: Mr. Spellman <br />Also Present: Mayor Beebe, Dale Feneli, Robert Beatty, Gus Amendola, <br />Steve Hovancsek, Chief Hejcl and Chief Stevens. <br />OPEN PORTION: , <br />Mr. Cotton, 6826 Meadowood Dr., stated he would continue to attend the <br />Council Meetings until the Village completes the work that has to be <br />done on the easement on his property. He was told last month that the <br />~,rork would begin on May 1, 1880 then it was revised to begin on the 19th. <br />Work has not started. <br />Mr. Hovancsek stated that he had talked to Mr. Cotton°s ~,ri.fe today and <br />clarified that the work had not started. He contacted the Construction <br />Company (D&D) and they psromised to be on the site Wednesday or <br />Thursday. The Village Service Department felt they would have to <br />complete their portion of the work first but they will be using the <br />opposite side of the ravine and therefore, the contractor will be able <br />to do the seeding etc. without delay. <br />There being no further comments, that portion of the meeting closed. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES: <br />Regular Council Meeting of April 21, 1880. <br />Mr. Bennett stated corrections had been made and there being no <br />objections, the minutes stand as corrected. <br />Special :Council Meeting of April 25, 1980. <br />Mr. Bennett stated the minutes had been reviewed, there being no <br />objections, the minutes stand as written. <br />MAYORS COMMENTS <br />Mayor Beebe stated he had two important appointments to make this evening: <br />First; Due to the resignation of Mr. James Harris, who is moving out <br />
