Council President Bill Marquardt presided.
ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Buckholtz, Mr. Busa, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Ilacqua,
Mr. Marquardt, Mrs. Mills and Dr. Parker
Absent: None
Also Present: Mr. Brett, Mr. Diemen, Lt. Girbino, Mr. Hovancsek,
Mr. Metzung, Mr. Samac, Chief Stevens, Mr. Thomas and
Mrs. Roman
1

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given.
OPEN PORTION
Linda Fulton, 2990 Marcum Blvd., Willoughby Hills, asked the possibility of granting
Willoughby Hills residents a pool pass.
Mr. Thomas said the pool opened July 3,1999. We felt we needed to go through a full
year of operations before we made any commitments to non school district residents. It
is still an evaluation year.
Ms. Fulton said Marcum Blvd. is located on two streets--White Road and Rt. 91. She
doesn't know who was responsible for naming the street Parkview Drive but the street
she lives on is Marcum to Parkview (one way is Marcum; the other way is Parkview.)
We are getting a lot of delivery trucks (18-wheelers) because they see the name
Parkview. She doesn't know who was responsible for naming the street--Progressive or
the City.
Council President Marquardt said it was the Village.
Ms. Fulton said it was called Chagrin something then it was changed to Parkview. Our
road is becoming deteriorated because of this. Once they turn, there is no where to back
out.
Council President Marquardt asked if they were delivery or construction trucks.
